K's Book Review

Hey everyone I hope you are well. This week I read a bunch of books at once since I had a bit of spare time. Although, to be completely honest, I wish I didn't read this book. It wasn't that it was a really bad book but it was just such a waste of my time to finish that it would have been better if I had just left it for another week or two. I always find it hard to get into a Faerie story because there are just so many of them out there and they all have the same sort of feel to them. This one just might have been too different in culture for me to really enjoy it. Hey everyone, another great week I hope! This week I read a book series (yes the entire series) called the Iron Fey series, starting with this book here The Iron King. I absolutely loved this series, because the author wrote so clearly, so fluently, and so amazingly that for a time I forgot I was reading and I thought I WAS the character of this book.  Megan lives an interesting life, though she only has one friend, Robby, she still finds comfort in her small family. Even though her step dad doesn't seem to remember that she exists, her younger step brother loves her and her mom takes good care of her. But as her birthday approaches Megan starts seeing people in the woods, and Robby starts acting funny. When her brother disappears and then reappears acting strange, she wants to figure things out. Good day to you, my fellow readers. I have just been informed that there is a possibility that this book, Paranormalcy, will be being made into a movie. So, in light of the good news, I thought I would give a review to the book, even though I read it a year or two ago. I loved the book, and I loved the cover, and best of all, it is a trilogy, my favourite! Evie is your everyday teenager living in a secret lab that deals with Paranormals. What are Paranormals you might ask? Well, a paranormal are anything from vampires to ghosts, to anything that isn't classified as 'human'. This lab hunts down rogue paranormals and 'tags' them, and then gives them jobs where they can live their lives and not have to pose a danger to the humans. Now, Evie is basically human, but she is special in a few ways. One, she can see past the glamour of paranormals and can see what they really are when they are trying to hide. Ok, so here is another great book, first in the Wings series, that I recon is worth a shot! I did not want to originally read this book, but one of my oldest friends read it and I would be damned if she would read a book that I would not. And I truly liked it! So much so that I went out the next day and bought the rest in the series. I have done the review for a later book in this series a few years ago here on the blog, but I thought that now would be a good chance to do the first book considering how long it has been. Hello again everyone! It is Monday which means it is time to upload a review on my latest book series!!!!! This week I set out to read the Faerie Path, an odd book with many ups and downs. All in all it wasn't all that bad a book, but in the end I don't know if I would read the next book in the series. I suppose I will, only because the story isn't quite complete, but if it doesn't get better I'm done. So we meet Anita, who is about to turn sixteen and is going to tell the boy of her dreams that she loves him. But the day before her birthday her and the boy Ethan get into an accident and they end up in the hospital for a few days.
