Happy Wednesday!

Good day everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful week. Just another quick update as I do on Wednesdays to say that I hope everyone is keeping up on their reading goals. With the weather getting better I have noticed many book sales lately at schools, bookstores, and other places. Take advantage of this time to grab yourself as many books as possible and make it your goal to read as much as you can this year! Also, as my roommate has pointed out, rereading a book is just as good as buying a new one to read. So here is my challenge to you: Go through your old books and find your absolute favourite. Read it again and remind yourself why you love it, and why you love reading. For me, I will be reading Good Omens once again in memory of Terry Pratchett and I will enjoy every moment of it.  Have a great week everyone and I will see you again on Monday! - K

Wednesday Update: Countries!

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all have a happy Wednesday! This week I thought I would let you all know what countries have visited the page you are now reading (if you are actually on the blog and not just reading one specific article). I am able to see, not all at one, what countries are viewing. So here is a list (not in order). USA  Canada UK Russia Malaysia Poland Saudi Arabia Venezuela  France Ukraine  Romania Netherlands Germany  Ireland Kazakstan Hong Kong Ghana Morocco Bangladesh Chile India If you don't see your country up there, don't be upset. I can only see the top ten at one time so I am lucky to have caught these ones. I will catch them eventually, I promise. Also I want to thank you all for the support and for reading my blog, whether you are regulars to the site or just passing by. It really means a lot to me that you come here, no matter how high the view count is. The important thing for me is that I have an audien...

Wednesday Update

Happy Wednesday everyone. I thought I would let you know how I am doing on my reading challenge. I am currently done 9 out of 52 of the books and I am working hard towards my tenth. I think I am a bit behind but I will catch up soon enough. Also I thought I would start adding my favourite quote from the books from now on to let you guys get a better feel of how the book flows. It might be a funny quote, it might be a deep one, who knows! I know I don't have much else to say to you guys today so have a great week and I will see you all on Monday! (Damn, I am so tired right now...) - K

Wednesday Update

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all keeping well. I hope you are all working hard on your reading list or, if you aren't working on a reading list, that you are at least reading. I have recently picked up a few new books with one common theme: Vampires. It has been a while since I have read a good vampire book (one not meant to make teenage girls squeal). I picked up Bram Stoker's Dracula so that I can read a classic, and I will be reading Interview with a Vampire. I haven't seen the movie but I will most likely watch it after I read the book if I think it will be as good as everyone tells me that it is.  So far I am keeping up with the reading challenge, but I am struggling not to fall behind. Thankfully I will have a week off school to get ahead of my readings which means that I will have many more reviews to add on the coming Monday's.  Well that is all I have to update for today. If any of you are going to the Pittsburg Penguin game in Ottawa tomorrow ke...

Happy Wednesday!

Good day everyone, I hope you are having a nice week. This will be just a quick Update for you all. I have been reading like crazy lately because I have found a great new section of books in the literature section at our local bookstore. I am very excited to keep checking off more books on my 2015 reading challenge.  What I have checked off so far: - A book set in another country: Jurassic Park (will do review) set in Costa Rica  - A mystery or Thriller: Lost World (might so review...)  - A book based entirely on it's cover: Good Omens (certainly doing a review) - A book you started but never finished: Harry Potter (will not be updating review at the moment) So that is 4/52 books completed. I am ahead of schedule! I hope you are all reading lots and working on this challenge. I would love to challenge one of you if you are willing to take me on! But if money is the issue with completing the challenge I completely understand.  Don't forget that libraries, use...
